Residential / Small Business Alarm Technician (Everett)

Everett electrical contracting company has (1) immediate opening for a Low Voltage Security, Access Control, and CCTV technician.

Must have working knowledge of installation of hardwired and wireless alarm systems (Honeywell , DSC, GE, Napco)

CCTV & card access knowledge is a plus. Company Nextel available.

REQUIREMENTS:

Washington State 06 low voltage license required or provide proof of hours to obtain a license.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the alarm and security field

Valid Washington State drivers license

Own tools

Dependable transportation

Must be punctual

High School Diploma or GED required.

Very flexible hours (part time available) (Possible 6 day work weeks)

Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug and Background screening and have clean driving record.

DUTIES

1. Installs, dismantles, and reconstructs equipment required by customer or job work order.

2. Makes connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.

3. Evaluates information furnished for the job, delivered materials, layout of premises and practical routes for cable, conduit and/or wiring.

4. Promptly reports defective material or equipment, inaccuracies or omissions in job information that may result in inadequate protection for customer use.

5. Follows safety practices to safeguard against injury and damage to property.

6. Safeguards against loss of unused materials, ladders, and tools on a job site or office location.

7. Cleans up debris from installation, patches drill holes, and returns unused materials.

8. Performs other duties as required.
