Parker Staffing is seeking candidates who are committed and passionate about satisfying customer needs to fill many full-time Technical Support positions at Nintendo. You will act as a definitive source of information proving online support and troubleshooting for Nintendo DS systems and the Wii.

Your position in this fun, active and energetic environment begins with 6 days of paid training. As a successful candidate you will need to have a strong interest in technology and the gaming industry and “can do” attitude! While this position does include paid training we are looking for applicants who have demonstrated the ability to learn and apply technical concepts in previous positions. For example: WiFi Networking. We are looking for candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in a technical support position. Must be able to type at least 60 wpm. The Nintendo Contact Center is open 6am-7pm, 7 days a week. Candidates must be available to work Saturday and Sunday, opening and closing shift. Pay Rate: $13/hr with the opportunity for additional compensation upon completion of additional training and certifications.

As a Technical Support Rep you will be assisting consumers with a variety of issues:

-Troubleshooting escalated hardware and/or software technical problems in conjuction with Nintendo systems

-Assisting consumers with setting up and/or using a wireless network with their Nintendo systems

-Troubleshooting connection problems including walking consumers’ through network security settings and router settings

-Documenting and forwarding consumer comments

-Collecting and researching technical problems associated with consumer issues to develop solutions and resources for the department

-Answering consumer questions regarding online features of their Nintendo Wii and Ninendo DS gaming systems

Job Description:

We are looking for a Technical Editor who provides both content and media editorial expertise in the development of end-user documentation. This position requires experience in editing, preferably of end-user content, and some experience working with multimedia content (i.e. videos, demos, etc.). The primary responsibility of this position is to work directly with the Lead Editor and the writers to ensure that the content adheres to the specifications and guidelines established by our mobile consumer content team; that the content is consistent across a large set and reflects the overall design and voice principles for our mobile division. Content experience in the mobile phone space preferred.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of related experience or a B.A. in English, Journalism, or Technical Communication
3-5 years of demonstrated editing experience with content on the web, and with an emphasis on consumer-facing documentation
Strong editing skills at all levels and solid knowledge of grammar and editing standards, particularly Microsoft-specific guidelines
Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and proficiency in tracking projects
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work productively in and adapt quickly to challenging and changing situations
Work collaboratively and effectively with a wide and diverse range of people and groups
