Adult family home care givers (Bellevue )

A very nice Adult Family Home need dependable, experienced, quality and hard working caregivers. Fluent English is required. 2+ years care giving experiences is required. We will check your references.

Job duties will include: Daily care for six residents, meal preparation and assistance with feeding, Medication assistance & light housekeeping. Enjoy cooking is a big plus. Must be able to do multi-tasking. Must be pleasant and enjoy talking to residents. Must be able to lead activities and exercises. Must be a loving and caring person and always want to do the best for others.

Both full time and part time position is available. Live-in can be arranged if needed.

You must have these certificates:

Fundamentals of caregiving

NAR or NAC

Nurse Delegation

1st Aid/CPR

TB test

Food handler card

Ballard AFH has part time jobs : 9 am to 12 noon OR 4pm to 7pm–Thurs. thru the next Weds: — 7 shifts on and then 7 shifts off (work every other week) PART TIME ONLY

To work with our Elders requires the following:

* Must be very proficient in English-reading and writing.

* Fundamentals of Caregiving, Nurse Delegation, CPR and First Aid

* 2 step TB skin test ( a must)

* History of good work attendance and good interpersonal working relationships–a Team Player.

* Local, Long term care/ AFH experience-1 year minimum in Seattle area

* Recent ( within past year), local references.

Entry level part time job at battery warehouse. Requires lifting batteries up to 80 pounds. No experience necessary. Must be willing to work and follow instruction. Hours 3:00 pm to approximately 7:00 pm M-F, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm every other Saturday. Come to 727 134th St SW Everett to fill out an application.
