Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, Electrical sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with Electrical design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

KNOWLEDGE:

Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures in Electrical Engineering; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.

JOB COMPLEXITY:

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.

SUPERVISION:

Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.

EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate has a BSEE or MSEE and experience in Manufacturing Engineering in a low volume high mix environment.
