We have an immediate Payroll Accountant position available. This is an excellent opportunity to put your demonstrated in-house payroll processing experience as well as your HR Generalist skills to work for a well-respected, private and growing aerospace engineering design firm!

This position requires minimum 5 yrs. in-house/direct payroll processing experience. (We process our own payroll; we do not work with a payroll service such as ADP, PayChecks, etc.) and 3 years work experience within an HR Generalist capacity. Requires minimum AA degree, BA degree in HR or Accounting is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a detailed, organized self-starter who is team focused and service oriented.

Skills Required:

Microsoft Dynamics GP

Payroll Processing and Accounting functions: taxes, reporting, year-end and 401 (K), attendance tracking, invoicing, monthly journal entries, accruals and acct. reconciliation, collections, bank reconciliation, process PO request, issue and qualify suppliers and year-end support.

HR Generalist functions: process new hire paperwork, maintain hard and electronic files, perform employee orientations, enter and administer benefits enrollment, changes and cancellations, negotiate and manage benefit plans, maintain HRIS, perform COBRA administration, support AS9100 and special projects as assigned.
