Looking for a full-time SAP developer, reporting to the Project Director (no direct reports). The company bought the system, but need someone to come in and implement it, then continue to write and develop it.

I am waiting for the official job description, but it focused more on the admin/analyst side and they now need someone to write and develop– they must be proficient with ABAP.

They have at least a year’s worth of work, not sure what will happen to the position beyond that, but the company has never used SAP before, and as their business continues to grow and change, they may need further assistance maintaining and upgrading their system infrastructure.

Ideal salary range 80-85K, but they know they may need to pay more for the right person.

There are around 180 people in the company at this time, located in AUBURN.

They deal with the purchase of precious metals like gold and silver which they mold into bouillion.

They are busy and growing, did about $200 million in revenue last year. Their team consists of “high-energy” people who are passionate about the business and have a positive demeanor.

They have an open door policy, but please note, they have an extensive background check/credit check process, and their employees all exit through security and are subject to searches.

We are seeking a SAP Basis Administrator / Analyst to assist our client in the implementation, support, and maintenance of their new SAP R/3 ECC 6.0 installation with 50-60 users.

Job Responsibilities

. Develop, test, and maintain user interfaces for specific departments including Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), Manufacturing, and Shipping.

. Perform SAP system monitoring.

. Resolve SAP technical issues.

. Provide operational readiness support as well as system security.

. Provide interface architecture support.

. Provide SAP notes (OSS notes).

. Provide platform tuning and administration.

. Provide technical support for system users.

. Provide backup and recovery support.

Minimum Requirements

. 3 years experience in an accounting, sales, or manufacturing business.

. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

. Demonstrated proficiency in ABAP and SAPscript programming, Microsoft Office Suite,

. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server environments, and Microsoft Windows (XP & Vista).

. Strong understanding of business processes, practices, and solutions available within SAP software

. Ability to determine and document functional and technical specifications.

Preferred Requirements

. Ability to train and support team members in a new SAP environment.

. Project management experience with SAP configuration and implementation.

. Working knowledge of project management practices and methodology’s. Strong requirements gathering and change management skills. Ability to coordinate Data Conversion and Testing efforts.
