Payroll/HR Administrator

Small construction company looking for an experienced and reliable Payroll Clerk/Human Resources Admin.

We are searching for someone that has a clear understanding of the following:

Job costing, union fringe, certified payroll and public works reporting

Comprehension of payroll taxes and payroll deductions

Experience in equipment use data entry

Knowledge of medical/dental benefits and Cobra

Familiarity with tracking vacation and sick hours

Understanding of job classifications

Duties include:

Prepare and distribute payroll weekly

Input, process, and balance weekly payroll runs

Issue manual checks and direct deposit

Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports/payments for different Unions

Respond to staff member and management inquiries by researching and resolving payroll and benefit related issues

Resolve issues effectively, efficiently and maintains a positive-service oriented approach

Must have an understanding of accounting software (Computer Ease if possible) and the payroll module sections within the software. Payroll/Human Resources will be entirely your department.
