Looking for shower aide/caregiver (Fife/ Tacoma)

LOOKING TO HIRE A PART TIME SHOWER AIDE/ CAREGIVER FOR 2 YOUNG LADIES WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES. HOURS COULD POTENTIAL GO TO A LIVE IN ONCE WE ARE SET IN THE NEW HOME WHERE IT IS BEING MODIFIED FOR THE LADIES TO GET BETTER SHOWERS.

YOU WOULD NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH A HOYER LIFT, ALSO HAVE EXPERIENCE TRANSFER FROM POWER WHEELCHAIR TO SHOWER/TUB BENCH

HOURS WOULD BE FROM 10AM TO NOON MONDAY THRU FRIDAY. THIS WOULD LEAVE YOUR WEEKENDS FREE TO DO WHAT YOU WISH. THIS WOULD BE GOOD FOR A NURSING STUDENT NEEDING CLINICAL HOURS, WOULD ADJUST THE TIME TO SUIT THE SCHOOL SCHEDULE IF STUDENT.

EXPERIENCE WITH SPINAL CORD INJURY & CEREBRAL PALSY IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. EXPERIENCE WITH RANGE OF PASSIVE RANGE OF MOTION THERAPY. MALES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION DUE TO THE INTENSE LIFTING THAT IS REQUIRED.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

1. CPR/FIRST AID ( CURRENT)

2. TB TESTING ( CURRENT, NO MORE THAN 2 YEARS OLD)

3. WOULD ALLOW TO CONDUCT BACKGROUND CHECK UNDER THE STATE OF WASHINGTON)

4. FOUNDAMENTALS OF CAREGIVING
