Accounting Manager (Stevens Pass)
This is a year round management position with a salary of $50,000 to $55,000 DOE including medical, dental, PTO, 410K, and Season Passes for employee and qualifying dependents.
Duties: Responsible for the success of the Accounting department’s budget, staffing, and performance. Maintains effective relationships with customers, vendors, management, and ownership in regard to accounting and business needs of Stevens Pass. Oversees auditing functions, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivables, and payroll.
Requirements: A four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent experience. 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position. Proven success in a management role. CPA or CMA preferred. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Familiar with integrated general ledger software systems and financial reporting. Previous experience with JDE and RTP applications highly desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Ability to identify/solve problems, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively. Comfortable with the changing dynamics of a highly seasonal mountain recreation business.
